Hamtramck waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They took down the Detroit Cristo Rey WOLVES 45-28. Given the Cosmos' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 165th, while the WOLVES are ranked 753rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory got Hamtramck back to even at 17-17. As for Detroit Cristo Rey, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamtramck will welcome Crestwood at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th. As for Detroit Cristo Rey, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Osborn at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
