It was fun while it lasted, but Crestview's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Saturday. They were outmatched by the Archbishop Hoban Knights and fell 65-30. The matchup marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Crestview's loss came despite strong showings from Luvrain Gaskins and Addison Rhodes. Gaskins dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Rhodes posted seven points in addition to ten boards and six assists. Gaskins has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Myer Miller, who put up six points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Crestview fell to 4-1. As for Archbishop Hoban, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Crestview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-59 loss against Streetsboro on the 15th. Archbishop Hoban will take on Central Catholic in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Archbishop Hoban's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups.
