Tri-Valley is 7-0 against the Black Bears since December of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Tri-Valley Scotties will be playing at home against the River View Black Bears at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tri-Valley has five straight victories, the Black Bears have three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
In what's become a running theme this season, Tri-Valley gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 66-46 margin over Dublin Scioto. Given Tri-Valley's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Irish are ranked 284th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, River View took a serious blow against the Panthers on Friday, falling 71-29. River View has not had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Tri-Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for River View, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-11.
Everything came up roses for Tri-Valley against the Black Bears in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 74-32 victory. With Tri-Valley ahead 52-16 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
