As MaxPreps continues its preseason look at the 2021 high school football season, we zone in on the tight end position.
We've already spotlighted the
biggest games and
best quarterbacks,
running backs and
wide receivers, and will close out the week with a look at the guys in the trenches on the offensive line on Friday. An extension of the offensive line, the tight ends on this list are versatile in both the passing game as well as running the ball.
The Palmetto State takes home the honor of the No. 1 spot as Jaleel Skinner of Greer (S.C.) is one of six seniors featured. Ethan Davis of Collins Hill (Suwanee, Ga.), Luke Hasz of Bixby (Okla.), Duce Robinson of Pinnacle (Phoenix), and Matayo Uiagalelei of St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) were all selected from the Class of 2023.
