After soaring high against Massabesic two weeks ago, Icarus fell to the ground last Friday. Cheverus might be aching after a bruising 7-37 loss to Portland.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 7-47, which was the final score in Lewiston's tilt against Thornton Academy.
Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous matchup, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
