Glenn is 0-1 against Cedar Park since October of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Glenn Grizzlies will head out on the road to face off against the Cedar Park Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. Glenn will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 498th, while Cedar Park is ranked 151st).
Last Friday, Glenn had to suffer through a rough 49-19 loss at the hands of College Station. Glenn was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-10.
Meanwhile, even though Hendrickson scored an imposing 45 points on Friday, Cedar Park still came out on top. Cedar Park pulled ahead with a 46-45 photo finish over Hendrickson.
Cedar Park found their leader in underclassman Trae Hill, who rushed for 216 yards and five touchdowns.
Cedar Park's win bumped their season record to 4-3 while Glenn's defeat dropped theirs to 2-5.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's match: Glenn has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 378 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Cedar Park struggles in that department as they've been averaging 149.1 per game. It's looking like Friday's match might have some serious battles in the trenches.
