The Pleasant Ridge Rams had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 43 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They really took it to Horton for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-18 win at home. Considering Pleasant Ridge has won three matches by more than 19 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Isabela Major, who scored 18 points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. Ava Potter was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Pleasant Ridge's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Horton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Pleasant Ridge will head out on the road to face off against Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy on Friday. Horton will be home for the holidays to greet Jackson Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Jackson Heights focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 last Friday.
