With the Nebraska girls soccer season reaching the halfway point and beyond this week, we have decided to take a look at this year's leaders by points scored and their top performances to date in this week's Top 10.
While we usually uncover the top performances of individual athletes regardless of where they rank in our statistics database, this week we are listing our Top 10 leaders and their top performances. We will, however, touch on a handful, or so, of Nebraska's other magnificent individual efforts.

Bellevue West's Emma Mullendore was the Cornhusker State's leader in points scored as of Wednesday night when we combed through the database. The senior forward/midfielder put forth two identical 10-point efforts in a week's time last month, after scoring four goals and adding a pair of assists in each contest.
Gracie Haneborg of North Platte and Papillion-LaVista's Sammy Marek both sat two points behind our leader with 37 points, and both put up monster performances last month. Marek scored six goals and earned two assists for 14 points in a win over Plattsmouth, while Haneborg booted five balls into the goal and assisted on three more scores to net 13 points against Aurora.
Rounding out the Top 5 are Miley Prine of Bennington and Columbus Scotus striker Abbie Zoucha in the Nos. 4 and 5 spots respectively. Prine chalked up an eight-point performance against Platteview with four goals, while Zoucha was credited with 11 points after scoring four goals and dishing out three assists against Omaha Concordia.
Other Nebraska athletes that have produced individual performances of 10 points or more in a given game are Kaley Heinz of Omaha Westside (12 points/5 goals/2 assists), Omaha Westside's Sylvia Fehr (11 points/5 goals/1 assist), Sarah Parmer of Conestoga (10 points/4 goals/2 assists) and Elkhorn's Jaiden Thompson (10 points/5 goals).
As you browse through this week's Top 10, we introduce the athletes on the first line and list their stats as of Wednesday evening on line two. Of course, the third line and beyond, is reserved for each soccer players' top performance(s) of the season.

Mullendore has already scored four goals and dished out a pair of assists twice this spring. After pulling off the feat in an 11-0 win over Omaha Benson on March 22, Mullendore repeated the 10-point performance during a 10-0 shutout of Lincoln High a week later.

Haneborg opened the season with a 13-point effort after scoring five goals and dishing out three assists in a 10-0 win over Aurora on March 16.

Marek was credited with 14 points after scoring six goals and assisting on two more during a 10-0 shutout of Plattsmouth on March 23.

Prine chalked up a season-high eight points after scoring four goals during a 7-1 win over Platteview on April 8.

Zouch was credited with 11 points after scoring four goals and assisting on three more during a 10-0 win over Omaha Concordia on March 25.
