Cherokee Christian came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Creekside Christian Academy, but Ian Terrell wouldn't allow it. The Cougars walked away with a 42-29 victory over the Warriors on Friday for which the team can thank Terrell, who rushed for 271 yards and four scores while picking up 9.3 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 123.4 rushing yards per game.

Although Cherokee Christian took the loss, they still got scores from Colton Messer, Burke Harper, and Luke Foster.

The win was the third in a row for Creekside Christian Academy, bringing their record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.7 points over those games. As for Cherokee Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Creekside Christian Academy will welcome Rock Springs Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 808 yards in their previous games. As for Cherokee Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Central Fellowship Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th.
