The Augusta Red Devils's three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They walked away with a 57-49 victory over Harrisburg. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Augusta also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2016.
Despite the defeat, Harrisburg saw an underclassman step up: Jakobe Tate scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Max Tracy, who scored 5 points.
Augusta's win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Harrisburg, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Augusta will take on Barton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Barton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Augusta likes a good challenge. As for Harrisburg, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Osceola at 7:00 p.m. Osceola is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
