He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That stolen base was his first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Colin Lewis, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and two RBI. Landon Lane was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Martin County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive contests.
Martin County's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Northside - Pinetown, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
