Tekonsha lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Reagan Henry, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and six assists. Angel Veenkant was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Tekonsha dropped their record down to 4-10 with that loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 18.6 points per game. As for Hillsdale Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
Tekonsha will be playing at home against Mendon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hillsdale Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Litchfield at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
