A Season-Best Effort from Jason Wilkett Leads Wilburton over Spiro
Sadly, Jason Wilkett posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Wilburton over Spiro on Friday. Wilkett rushed for 315 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 58 yards.
Wilburton is on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6. Wilkett will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Antlers on Thursday.

Jason Powders' Rushing Yards a New Career-High
On Friday, Henryetta got the W thanks in part to Jason Powders playing the best football he has all season. Powders rushed for 294 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 64 yards.
Henryetta pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Powders and Henryetta will venture away from home to square off against Vian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Spiro was led to victory by Brycen Graham, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Graham rushed for 120 yards and four touchdowns, and also threw for 286 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per attempt, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made four total tackles.
Spiro moved to 1-5 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak. Graham and Spiro will square off against Morris at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Masyn Wright Goes Supernova in Vian Victory
Vian picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Masyn Wright. Atoka had no answer to Wright as he rushed for 179 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 31 receiving yards and a touchdown. Wright's longest rush was for an incredible 77 yards.
Vian's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Wright and Vian will face off against Henryetta at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Jayden Berry Turns in Season-Best Performance
Jayden Berry produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Spiro to the win on Friday. Berry picked up 134 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making 13 total tackles.
For the year, Berry has caught those 2 touchdowns while averaging 33.5 receiving yards per game.
