Hillsboro came out on top against Washington on Wednesday thanks in part to Camryn Spruell's efforts. Spruell wasn't messing around, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. The pitching appearance was her sixth straight with two or fewer walks.
