Jett Lopez was another key passer, throwing for 367 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt.
Amarillo wouldn't let Monterey keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force four fumbles. Creed Cavalier led the group effort, picking up two of those forced fumbles all by himself. Abilene now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Amarillo, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
