The match started off well for Paola, whose offense put up 45 first-half points. Ottawa put up 7, so the score was 45-7 at the half. The Paola defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the game. The victory bumped their record up to 3-0. Ottawa are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
Next week Paola take on Spring Hill at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. As for Ottawa, they will face off against Chanute.
