There's no place like home for the Green Tech Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Middletown 78-32 at home. With that win, Green Tech brought their scoring average up to 54 points per game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Green Tech to victory, but perhaps none more so than Olivan Owens, who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Indavier Barnes, who scored 15 points.
The victory got Green Tech back to even at 1-1. As for Middletown, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Green Tech will take on Albany Academy for Boys at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for Middletown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Monroe-Woodbury at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
