The Clear Brook Wolverines won the last time they faced the Clear Springs Chargers, and things went their way on Friday too. Clear Brook blew past the Chargers, posting a 67-31 win at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Clear Brook has managed all season.
Several Chargers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Amirah Gray, who scored seven points along with three steals. Jasmine Whitaker was another key contributor, scoring six points along with two steals and two blocks.
Clear Brook has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-15 record this season. As for Clear Springs, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-27.
Clear Brook will face off against the Gators at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dickinson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 22 games -- so hopefully the Wolverines like a good challenge. Clear Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
