The Williams Field Black Hawks's four-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bradshaw Mountain 56-24 on the road. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Williams Field also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Leading Williams Field to victory were Sophia Carnes and Latoya Brooks. Carnes scored 13 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals, while Brooks scored 18 points along with 5 rebounds. The contest was Carnes' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Savanah Horotn, who scored 5 points.
Williams Field's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Bradshaw Mountain, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Williams Field will take on Chandler at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chandler presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Williams Field in Arizona (Chandler is ranked seventh, while Williams Field is ranked 88th). As for Bradshaw Mountain, they will head out on the road to face off against Greenway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Greenway is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
