Shorecrest Prep and Carrollwood Day are an even 4-4-1 against one another since December of 2014, but likely not for long. The Shorecrest Prep Chargers will head out on the road to face off against the Carrollwood Day Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shorecrest Prep can now relate to. Neither they nor the Panthers could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. They avoided a loss thanks to

Noah Jaffee, who posted all three of Shorecrest Prep's goals. The pair have combined for a total of ten so far this season.
Meanwhile, Carrollwood Day can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They never let First Baptist Academy onto the board and left with a 5-0 win. Give Carrollwood Day's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.
With that draw, Shorecrest Prep's record moves to 6-3-3. As for Carrollwood Day, their win bumped their record up to 14-2-1.
Shorecrest Prep suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Carrollwood Day in their previous matchup back in November of 2023. Can Shorecrest Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
