Apache Junction put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season  on Monday. They put the hurt on the Cortez Colts with a sharp  21-6 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Apache Junction.
  Christilyn Trisoliere made a splash no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Trisoliere was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring four  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Shaunna Harper was a standout: she got on base  in all six of her plate appearances with two  stolen bases, five  RBI,  and three  runs. She has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times she's  played.  Cierra Devriese was another key contributor,  going 3-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles.
 On Cortez's side,  Alitza Lopez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with a  home run and a  double.
 Apache Junction has  been performing  well recently as they've  won seven of their last nine games,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record  this season. As for Cortez, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-15.
 Coincidentally,  both teams will both be playing Tempe the next time they take the field. Cortez will head out to face Tempe at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday, while Apache Junction will  host them  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
