Imperial lost against Brawley back in October, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The Imperial Tigers fell to the Brawley Wildcats  25-19. Despite 135 more yards than the Wildcats, the Tigers couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
 Despite the  loss, Imperial saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Mirella Barron threw for 361 yards and three touchdowns. What's more,  Barron also racked up 28  rushing yards, the most she's  had since back in September. Another player making a difference was  Addison Clark, who picked up 98 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Imperial didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Hannah Johnson and  Clark. Johnson also  posted 115  receiving yards, which is notable because Imperial is 12-5 when she posts  at  least  100  receiving yards, but 1-2 otherwise.
 The  defeat snapped Imperial's winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 13-7 record. As for Brawley, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record  this season.
 As of now, neither Imperial nor Brawley have any future games scheduled.
