Fifteen high school volleyball players who have led their teams to outstanding seasons to date comprise the MaxPreps National Player of the Year watch list.
The standouts included are vying to join Lexi Sun (2016), Kenzie Knuckles (2018), Paige Flickinger (2019), Elia Rubin (2021) and Lauren Harden (2023) as winners of the nation's highest honor.

Resume: The Tigers' leading hitter has bashed 393 kills (4.2 per set) with a kill rate of 44 percent. She has helped Dripping Springs to a 35-2 record and No. 9 spot in the MaxPreps Top 25. She also has 335 serve receptions, 240 digs, 41 aces and 22 blocks.

Resume: Hitting close to 30 percent, she has a team-high 285 kills (3.3 per set) for the Leopards as they chase their second straight Class 5A title. In addition to her kills, the MaxPreps Freshman All-American has 421 serve receptions, 301 digs and 29 aces for Lovejoy, which is 23-7 and ranked No. 18 in the nation.
Logan Bell, Roncalli (Indianapolis, Ind.)

Resume: Bell has helped the Royals to an unbeaten season thus far with 195 kills (3.4 per set) with a 42 percent kill rate. She has added 189 serve receptions, 154 digs and 38 aces for the No. 5 team in the MaxPreps Top 25.
Suliane Davis, Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, Texas)
Outside hitter | 6-2 | Class of 2025 | BYU
Resume: One of the top hitters in the country, she is fifth in the nation with 526 kills for the 24-5 Panthers. She averages a staggering 6.7 kills per set and is hitting at 36 percent. She also leads the team with 484 serve receptions and has 360 digs.
Maggie Dostic, Plant (Tampa, Fla.)

Resume: Dostic and the Panthers are unbeaten and No. 10 in the MaxPreps Top 25 as they look for their second straight Class 7A state title. She has pounded 184 kills while hitting at 30 percent with 86 digs, 31 aces and 18 blocks.
Megan Fitch, Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, Texas)

Resume: The Warriors play a grueling national schedule with tournament stops in Arizona, Hawaii and Nevada. Fitch is the main option for a Cornerstone team that has four hitters with more than 100 kills. The six-rotation standout has pounded 315 kills while adding 423 serve receptions and 258 digs.
Audrey Flanagan, Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, Calif.)

Resume: One of three Badger commits on the watch list, she leads her team with 253 kills (5.5 per set) as the Mustangs navigate a national schedule plus a cutthroat Southern California field. She also has 223 serve receptions, 106 digs and 18 blocks.
Campbell Flynn, Mercy (Farmington Hills, Mich.)
Setter | 6-2 | Class of 2025 | Nebraska
Resume: A Michigan Miss Volleyball candidate and member of the USA Volleyball U19 gold medal squad, she has helped the Marlins to an unbeaten start and No. 19 spot in the MaxPreps Top 25. She has 242 assists, 61 digs, 50 kills and 16 blocks.
Kylie Kleckner, Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, Texas)

Resume: The leading hitter on the second-ranked Bobcats, she is hitting nearly 32 percent as Byron Nelson seeks its second state title. Kleckner has 360 kills (5.1 per set) and is among a handful of young leaders on a Bobcats team that's overcoming the loss of senior Sydnee Peterson (ACL).
Lindsey Mangelson, Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, Ind.)
Outside hitter | 6-2 | Class of 2025 | Mississippi State
Resume: The Royals' go-to hitter has pounded 383 kills this season as her squad is 23-2 and No. 9 nationally. She also leads the team in aces (37) and has 240 serve receptions, 151 digs and 37 blocks. Hamilton Southeastern is seeking a third-straight state title.
Layli Ostovar, Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.)

Resume: Last year's MaxPreps National Sophomore of the Year has tallied 128 kills in 40 sets after returning to the lineup following a stint where she sat to rest her shoulder. The No. 1 Monarchs have a wealth of hitters but the well-rounded Ostovar also has 157 serve receptions and 120 digs.
Macaria Spears, Prestonwood Christian (Plano, Texas)

Resume: One of the game's biggest hitters, Spears at times is unstoppable. She has pounded 410 kills (6.1 per set) while hitting at 38 percent. She has also contributed 153 digs, 32 blocks and 22 aces for the 23-2 Lions, who sit at No. 4 in this week's MaxPreps Top 25.
Lynney Tarnow, Benet Academy (Lisle, Ill.)
Outside hitter | 6-5 | Class of 2026 | Wisconsin
Resume: The offensive leader of the No. 3 Red Wings, she has 100 kills and 35 blocks. Benet, which is 18-0, has only gone to a third set (Illinois plays a best-of-three) once this season.
Madison Quest, Divine Savior Holy Angels (Milwaukee, Wis.)

Resume: The Dashers are 28-0 as Quest has 236 kills while hitting at 38 percent. She has 198 serve receptions, 138 digs and 39 blocks as DSHA looks to repeat as Division I champion.

Resume: After returning from a near-fatal illness in the spring, she has 166 kills in 43 sets (3.9 per set) to boost the fortunes of the 21-2 Tigers.
