Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Mekhi Berrien, who posted 12 points in addition to seven boards and five steals. Those five steals gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nasier Berrien, who had 11 points and four steals.

The win was a breath of fresh air for the Explorers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The team also got some help courtesy of Travis Babers, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 boards.
