Northwestern has struggled against Maconaquah recently, as their contest on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Although Northwestern took the loss, they still got scores from Chase Dewitt and Sam Craig.
Maconaquah's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Braxton Birner, who threw for 317 yards and five touchdowns while completing 94.4% of his passes. AJ Kelly was another key contributor, gaining 133 total yards and three touchdowns.
Northwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Maconaquah, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
