With a playoff game on the line, the Plattsburg Tigers rose to the challenge on Friday. They claimed a resounding 62-26 victory over St. Joseph Christian on the road. Plattsburg's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
When it comes to explaining why St. Joseph Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Peyton Hausman. Despite the final result, he rushed for 116 yards and two touchdowns. Hausman has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last five times he's played.
Plattsburg's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for St. Joseph Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
Plattsburg will face off against South Holt at TBD on Friday. One thing working in South Holt's favor is that they have now posted big point totals every time they've taken the field this season. St. Joseph Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
