The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Christian Community in their matchups with Greenbrier: they've now lost four in a row.
It was another big night for Nolan Carson, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 17 rebounds for Greenbrier. The match was Carson's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Mack Scurlock, who scored ten points along with six assists.
Christian Community's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Greenbrier, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Christian Community will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against White House-Heritage at 2:30 p.m. on December 30th. Greenbrier won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hendersonville at 11:30 a.m. on December 29th. Hendersonville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
