 Last Saturday, Marietta lost to Holy Innocents Episcopal on the road  by a   65-49 margin.
 The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was  Mckenzie Everett, who  went 6 for 11 en route to 21 points plus seven  rebounds. With that strong performance,  she is now averaging an impressive 16.2 points per game. Another player making a difference was  Leah DeWitt, who  scored 17 points plus two  steals.
 Even though they lost, Marietta  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 13  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least 13  offensive rebounds in four consecutive  matches.
 Meanwhile, North Gwinnett posted their closest  win since January 27th on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  41-38  victory over Lambert. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Bulldogs.
 Marietta's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for North Gwinnett, they now  have a winning record of 2-1.
