Fletcher waltzed into their game on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They strolled past the Stanton Blue Devils with points to spare, taking the game 49-33. Given the Senators' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 451st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fletcher's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mikiah Sloan, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Brylee Rains was another key player, putting up eight points and five steals.

Fletcher smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive matchups.

Despite the loss, Stanton still got an impressive performance from Jaiden Perkins, who posted nine points and four steals.

Fletcher's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Stanton, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Fletcher wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 44-41 win against Episcopal School of Jacksonville on the 13th. As for Stanton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-45 loss against St. Augustine on the 12th.
