Paris Melvin Jr Goes Supernova in Cypress Springs Victory
Starting off the list is Cypress Springs's Paris Melvin Jr, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Melvin Jr rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 60 yards.
The win (which was Cypress Springs' third in a row) raised their record to 8-2. Melvin Jr and Cypress Springs will take on Tomball at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Landon Bridges Turns in Season-Best Effort
Cypress Lakes came up short on Saturday despite Landon Bridges delivering his best game to date. Bridges rushed for 147 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown. He is becoming a predictor of Cypress Lakes' success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 0-6 when he doesn't).

While Darien Rogers delivered a dominant performance on Thursday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Cypress Woods. Despite the loss, Rogers was still balling out as he rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 178 yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 59 yards.

Bridgeland Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Jett Lewis
Bridgeland picked up their seventh consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Jett Lewis. Cypress Woods had no answer to Lewis as he threw for 129 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 44 yards.
Bridgeland's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Lewis and Bridgeland will welcome Klein Oak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
