The Kern Valley Broncs suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a 80-30 defeat at the hands of Rosamond. Kern Valley has not had much luck with Rosamond recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Several Broncs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hunter Watts, who scored four points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Colton Carver, who scored four points along with six rebounds.
Andrew Arredondo continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Rosamond, scoring 36 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Arredondo has scored all season. Fabian Robles was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Kern Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Rosamond, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kern Valley will take on California City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. California City is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Rosamond, they will be playing at home against Desert at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
