It was a good run, but the Teaneck Highwaymen unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 80-76 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Joseph Regional. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (57), Teaneck still had to take the loss.
St. Joseph Regional's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anthony Pacciarelli, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. Evan Brown was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with five rebounds.
Teaneck's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for St. Joseph Regional, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
Teaneck will be playing at home against Pascack Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Pascack Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for St. Joseph Regional, they will head out on the road to take on Don Bosco Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Don Bosco Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight games -- so hopefully St. Joseph Regional likes a good challenge.
