Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Holcomb). They put the hurt on the Hugoton Eagles with a sharp 17-4 victory on Tuesday. The Longhorns might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by six runs or more this season.

Holcomb's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Hugoton, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Holcomb beat the Eagles by a score of 14-0 later that day.
