If Nauset Regional were riding high off their 45-8 takedown of Monomoy last week, that ride came to an abrupt end. Nauset Regional lost to Dennis-Yarmouth Regional by a decisive 14-34 margin. If Nauset Regional were expecting to get some payback for the 8-34 defeat against Dennis-Yarmouth Regional the last time they met, then they were left disappointed. The game pushed Nauset Regional down to 1-2 and pulled Dennis-Yarmouth Regional up to the reverse at 2-1.
Next week Nauset Regional take on Marshfield at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'. As for Dennis-Yarmouth Regional, they will face off against Pembroke. Pembroke took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse Dennis-Yarmouth Regional's good fortune.
