The Bennington Badgers and the Elkhorn Antlers will face off at 5:45 p.m. on January 25th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Bennington put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They put the hurt on Omaha North with a sharp 64-44 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Bennington has posted since December 14, 2023.
Meanwhile, Elkhorn didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Crete on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 56-52 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Elkhorn.
Bennington's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Elkhorn, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
Bennington came out on top in a nail-biter against Elkhorn in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, sneaking past 50-48. Will Bennington repeat their success, or does Elkhorn have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
