Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Shore). Their defense stepped up to hand the Rockledge Raiders a 6-0 shutout on Friday. The score was close at the half, but the Wildcats pulled away in the second half with five goals.

West Shore picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 4-2-5. As for Rockledge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6-1.

West Shore and Edgewood will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Rockledge will take on Satellite in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Satellite's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
