The Downingtown West Whippets and the Central Bucks South Titans squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Downingtown West Whippets had to settle for second. They were the victim of a rough 27-7 defeat at the hands of the Titans. Downingtown West's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Anthony Leonardi was his usual excellent self, rushing for 164 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.3 yards per carry for Central Bucks South. Leonardi's longest rush was for an incredible 79 yards.
Downingtown West's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Central Bucks South, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
Downingtown West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Central Bucks South also has no future games currently scheduled.
