Overton won the last time they faced Bertrand and things went their way  on Saturday too. The Eagles simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Vikings 35-6. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won three games by 29  points or more  so far this season.
 Eli Luther was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 57 yards and one  score on only six carries, while also throwing for 68 yards and a pair of  TDs. His passing game has become a key predictor of Overton's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Gage Clifton, who rushed for 71 yards and one  touchdown.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Overton was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 214  rushing yards. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they've run for more than 200 yards.
 Overton's defense stepped up as well, laying out  Waylon Olesen three times. Leading the way was  Trace Brooks with  two sacks.
Overton has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record  this season. As for Bertrand,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-3.
