The Carver Vo-Tech Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Digital Harbor Rams at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Carver Vo-Tech will be looking to keep their 16-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Last Thursday, Carver Vo-Tech didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Poets, but they still walked away with a 38-33 victory. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Carver Vo-Tech has scored all year.
Carver Vo-Tech got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dorrian Sands out in front who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalial Colclough, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Digital Harbor's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by Poly on the road and fell 73-45. While losing is never fun, Digital Harbor can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 207th, while the Engineers are ranked 72nd).
Carver Vo-Tech's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Digital Harbor, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
Everything came up roses for Carver Vo-Tech against the Rams in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 68-27 win. With Carver Vo-Tech ahead 36-10 at the half, the game was all but over already.
