The Rauner Wildcats's game on Monday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 49-32 win over UIC College Prep. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Rauner also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
UIC College Prep lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Marcus Moore, who scored ten points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jayden Coleman , who scored five points along with five rebounds.
Rauner pushed their record up to 5-2 with that victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.7 points. As for UIC College Prep, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-5.
Rauner will head out on the road to face off against Rowe-Clark at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant forwards against one another: Jurrel Buford and Yahweh Anderson.
