Jeremiah Lugo Dazzles in Patterson Win
Starting off the list is Patterson's Jeremiah Lugo, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Lugo rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 78 receiving yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August.
Lugo and Patterson will face off against Manteca at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lugo will face off against Nikko Juarez, the Buffaloes' star rusher. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Coby Joseph produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Patterson to the win on Friday. Joseph rushed for 142 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries.

Big Game from Juarez As Manteca Won 49-0
Nikko Juarez was instrumental in extending Manteca's winning streak to five on Friday. Juarez did his part (and then some), rushing for 141 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries for the 'W'.
Juarez must have East Union's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Juarez last faced the Lancers back in October of 2023, he rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.

Another Game with at Least 143 Rushing Yards from Wes Burford
Wes Burford continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his eighth-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 143 rushing yards. He rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns.
Burford might have his next game, a road matchup with Sierra, circled on his calendar. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Burford saw the Timberwolves), he rushed for 287 yards and four touchdowns.

Joey Alcutt Rounds Out Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Joey Alcutt of Central Catholic. Alcutt rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. Central Catholic is undefeated when Alcutt posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
Unfortunately for Oakdale, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Alcutt. When Alcutt last faced the Mustangs back in October of 2023, he picked up 72 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown.
