On Thursday, the Idea Timberwolves faced SEED DC in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Idea was beaten by SEED DC 56-14. Idea has struggled against SEED DC recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
SEED DC got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kamarah Glasgow out in front who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyonna Hiton, who scored 11 points.
Idea's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for SEED DC, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with that victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing KIPP College Prep the next time they take the court. SEED DC will head out to face KIPP College Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while Idea will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
