The Forrest Rockets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They took a serious blow against Cascade, falling 64-29. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Forrest has scored all season.
Jimmy Bond and Tristan Goad certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Bond scored three points, while Goad scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Forrest has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season. As for Cascade, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11.
Forrest will be playing at home against the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cannon County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Rockets in Tennessee (the Lions are ranked 114th, while the Rockets are ranked 376th). Cascade is on the road again on Friday and plays the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Santa Fe will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive.
