Bryant extended their winning streak to 16 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Camarion Bead. The Hornets came out on top against the Maize South Mavericks by a score of 55-45 on Thursday with plenty of help from Bead, who went 11-for-20 to rack up 31 points along with eight boards and five steals. His afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Rj Young was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 46% in the last 14 games he's played dating back to last season.

Bryant's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Maize South, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bryant will host Benton at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Maize South, they will welcome Andover Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
