Watch the excitement of the best of 2015-16.
Auburn's
Meg Rieshick hit her way to the top of this week's Top 10 after completing one of softball's rarest of feats. Going 4-4 from the plate the Bulldog junior scored a run and knocked in three of her teammates after ripping a single, a double, a triple and a home run to complete the hitting cycle.
Rieschick and the Bulldogs lost 8-5 to Falls City in that game, but her strong showing assured her the spot atop our individual softball performances to date in Nebraska Top 10.
Wayne's
Kennedy Maly was pretty sharp at the plate as well, scoring three runs and knocking in four more after ripping Ralston pitching for three home runs in a 10-9 loss August 27. Fellow Blue Devil
Annie Kniesche joined Maly in the Top 10 after she hit a pair of round trippers herself in an August 20 performance. Wayne is the only school to place two or more athletes on this week's Top 10.
Polk County's
Tana Engel,
Emily Rochford of Douglas County West and
Corinne Watters of Millard South round out the Top 5 respectively after going a combined 10-10 from the plate.
