Chattanooga Central came up short against Walker Valley, falling 13-2. The loss continues a trend for the Pounders in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost three in a row.

Chattanooga Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Treshaun Gearing, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Chattanooga Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Soddy Daisy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.
