Hernando won the last time they faced Fivay and things went their way  on Thursday too. Everything went the Hernando Leopards' way against the Fivay Falcons as the Hernando Leopards made off with  a  15-1 win. Considering the Leopards have won five matches by more than nine  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Lily Jernigan was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. Jernigan was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with four  RBI and one  double. That  double marked the first that  she  hit this season.
 In other batting news,  Aubrey Knierim was a standout: she scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. She also put up a  triple, which was her first of the season.  Mya Smith was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing  Three bases. while going 1-for-2.
 Hernando  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .581. They are  a perfect 5-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Hernando's record now sits at 5-3. As for Fivay,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-6.
 Coming up, Hernando will head out on the road to  challenge  Lecanto  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Fivay, they will welcome Weeki Wachee  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Fivay is facing Weeki Wachee at the right time seeing as Weeki Wachee is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
