A Season-Best Effort from Saidi Wasaidi Leads Polytechnic over North Side
Saidi Wasaidi produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Polytechnic to the win on Thursday. Wasaidi rushed for 261 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Polytechnic's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6. Wasaidi and Polytechnic will square off against South Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

William Quintana-Rodriguez Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Chisholm Trail got the W thanks in part to William Quintana-Rodriguez playing the best football he has all season. Quintana-Rodriguez rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.
The win made it two in a row for Chisholm Trail and bumps their season record up to 6-2. Quintana-Rodriguez and Chisholm Trail will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Polytechnic at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st.

Grant Posts Huge Game in 57-6 Win
Arlington Heights found a leader in Kaeden Grant as the squad took down Wyatt on Friday. Grant was unstoppable, rushing for 38 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 195 yards and a touchdown on only 18 passes.
Grant and Arlington Heights are taking a road trip to challenge Trimble Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Grant will face off against Alexis Saucedo, the Bulldogs' star signal caller. So who wins this QB-duel? There's only one way to know for sure.

Jashaun Thomas put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries.
With the defeat, Paschal broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2. Thomas and Paschal will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Wyatt at 7:30 p.m.
