Washington kept a clean sheet against Greene Central on Tuesday. They blew past the Rams 6-0. The result was nothing new for Washington, who have now won seven matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Greene Central from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Elizabeth Barrera Meza led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Washington has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six contests. As for Greene Central, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-15-1.

Washington has already played their next matchup, a 9-0 victory against West Craven on the 17th. As for Greene Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 4-0 defeat against North Pitt on the 16th.
