Tanner Otis Goes Supernova in Marion Win
Starting off the list is Marion's Tanner Otis, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Otis rushed for 140 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 82-yard run.
The victory snapped Marion's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-4 record. Otis and Marion will challenge Randolph at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Maldonado Came Up Big in Florence's 34-14 Loss
Jose Danny Maldonado posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 193 yards while picking up 8.0 yards per carry.
Florence's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. Maldonado and Florence will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Luling at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Llano Wins Fourth-Straight Thanks to Luke Davis
Llano picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Luke Davis. Florence had no answer to Davis as he threw for 194 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 37 yards.
On the year, Davis has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 104.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 26.83 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 46.67 rushing yards.
